TEC CO

Low Level Carbon Monoxide Monitor

Having an accurate and reliable monitor helps ensure safety when working with or around carbon monoxide (CO).

The TEC CO is designed for monitoring very low levels of carbon monoxide. Housed in a rugged miniature enclosure with IP55-rated ingress protection, the unit features built-in temperature compensation and an RS485 digital output using the Analox communications protocol.

The sensors are backward-compatible with the existing MEC (Mini Electrochemical) range and offer the same modular approach to gas monitoring.

Additional Information

Carbon Monoxide Monitoring with the TEC CO

The TEC CO sensor can be supplied as an OEM component for third-party system integration. It can also be incorporated into Analox products such as the SDA CO+ or the ACG+, both designed for applications requiring sub-ppm gas measurement.

Carbon Monoxide Sensor

The TEC CO sensor was developed with signal stability as a key priority. It uses an advanced 4-pin electrochemical sensor that provides greater sensitivity than conventional 3-pin designs.

Its plug-in mounting configuration keeps the sensor cell pins extremely close to the circuit board, improving noise immunity and overall performance. This arrangement not only maximizes sensor accuracy and stability but also simplifies routine maintenance, including sensor cell replacement.

Applications

Industries That Use the TEC CO Sensor for Ultra-Low Carbon Monoxide Monitoring

The TEC CO sensor is designed for use as a sub-component within larger systems that monitor carbon monoxide at parts-per-billion accuracy (sub-ppm levels). Typical applications include medical air facilities, atmospheric pollution monitoring, breathing air compressors, and saturation or commercial diving systems.

The TEC CO sensor can be installed either in open environments or directly within the gas path.

  • OEM Applications: Carbon monoxide sensor integration for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
