The Ax60+ is a proven, modular gas safety system designed to monitor carbon dioxide (CO₂), oxygen (O₂), and/or carbon monoxide (CO) across a wide range of industries.
Its configurable design allows you to tailor the system to your specific requirements, supporting up to four sensors per setup for simultaneous multi-gas monitoring. This flexibility makes it suitable for a variety of applications where reliable gas detection is essential.
Why CO₂ monitoring matters
There is a common misconception that oxygen (O₂) monitoring alone is sufficient when working with carbon dioxide (CO₂). In reality, this approach can leave gaps in protection.
CO₂ is a toxic gas that can have harmful effects on the body even at relatively low concentrations. In the event of a leak, CO₂ will begin to displace oxygen in the surrounding area. However, because oxygen monitors are typically set to alarm at around 19.5% or 18%, CO₂ levels may already be dangerously high before an oxygen alarm is triggered.
For this reason, environments where CO₂ is used or stored require dedicated CO₂ monitoring. Detecting leaks early not only improves safety by allowing time to respond, but also helps reduce product loss—particularly important where CO₂ supply is limited.
